The 1966 World Cup final is to be screened on Saturday.

Channel 4 to show the England 1966 World Cup triumph over West Germany ahead of Sunday’s final.

England set to play Spain on Sunday night at 8pm.

England 4 West Germany 2 to be shown at 4.30pm tomorrow.

Channel 4 announcement regarding 1966 World Cup final – 12 July 2024:

‘As England prepare to face Spain in the final of the Euros on Sunday, Channel 4 will provide the perfect warm up for fans and give them the chance to re-live the men’s team’s last great triumph – England’s 1966 World Cup Final victory over West Germany.

The entire match, including extra time, will air on Channel 4 tomorrow (Saturday 13 July) from 4.30pm and will be shown in colour after the original black and white film was painstakingly colourised, courtesy of Channel 4. The commentary comes from ITV’s original broadcast of the final’
