Paris Saint-Germain right-back, Colin Dagba, is open for selection into the Benin Republic senior men’s national team, Cheetahs.
According to Joueurs Beninois in a post on X, there is the possibility that Dagba could be included in Benin Republic’s list, ahead of next month’s AFCON 2025 qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Gernot Rohr-led Benin Republic side will be guests to the Super Eagles on matchday 1 of the AFCON 2025, billed for Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Uyo.
The last time both teams clashed was in June this year, in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which the Beninoises won 2-1.
Born in Bethune, France to French and Benin Republic parents, Dagba On 3 July 2017, Dagba signed his first professional contract with PSG on July 3, 2017.
The 25-year-old made his professional debut on 4 August 2018, starting in the 2018 French Super Cup match against Monaco, which PSG won 4-0.
He has the Ligue 1 title three time, French Cup twice, French League Cup once and was part of the PSG squad that lost to Bayern Munich in the final of the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League.
