Former Nigerian international Alloy Agu says he’s optimistic the Super Eagles will beat Rwanda in tomorrow’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Recall that Nigeria kicked off their campaign with an impressive 3-0 win over Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday. While Rwanda played a 1-1 draw with Libya in Tripoli at the weekend.
With the team set to face Rwanda on Tuesday, Agu, in a chat with Completesports.com, stated that the Augustine Eguavoen-led Super Eagles will continue with their winning mentality.

“I don’t see the Rwandans escaping defeat in their home soil because the Super Eagles have found their redemption back.
“I expect nothing but the three points based on their performance against Benin. Yes, it will be tough, but the fighting spirit within the team is back for good.
“With the likes of Osimhen, Lookman, and Boniface in form, Rwanda should prepare for a long night of nightmares.”
