2025 Oscars Production Team Revealed By EP And Showrunner Raj Kapoor And EP Katy Mullan

Oscars executive producers Raj Kapoor, who also serves as showrunner, and Katy Mullan revealed the members of the production team for the 97th ceremony, which will be hosted by Conan O’Brien Sunday, March 2.

Rob Paine returns as co-executive producer and Taryn Hurd as do producers Sarah Levine Hall. Supervising choreographer Mandy Moore and lighting designers Bob Dickinson and Noah Mitz also rejoin the team. Producers Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney will be first-time team members.

Writers for this year’s show include Amberia Allen, José Arroyo, Josh Comers, Dan Cronin, Jessie Gaskell, Skyler Higley, Berkley Johnson, Ian Karmel, Brian Kiley, Laurie Kilmartin, Carol Leifer, Jon Macks, Conan O’Brien, Matt O’Brien, Agathe Panaretos and Mike Sweeney.

As previously announced, the show’s production team also includes director Hamish Hamilton, production designers Misty Buckley and Alana Billingsley, and music director Michael Bearden.

The 2025 Academy Awards will take place March 2 at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood. They will be televised live on ABC, and for the first time ever, they will stream live on Hulu in over 200 global territories.

The Oscar nominees were announced Jan. 23 after two postponements due to the wildfires that raged through Los Angeles starting Jan. 7. The voting period was also extended two times, and it ended Jan. 17. The Oscar nominees luncheon schedyled for Feb. 10 has been canceled, and the Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony have been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Emilia Pérez leads the nominees with potential to win in 13 categories, followed closely by Wicked and The Brutalist tied for 10 noms each. The Best Picture category nominees include the Jon M. Chu and Brady Corbet-directed films along with Anora, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys and The Substance.
