South African Captain, Percy Tau, says he’s not giving any guarantee of scoring against the Super Eagles in tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Completesports.com reports.
Tau was on the score sheet when the Bafana Bafana shockingly claimed a famous 2-0 win here at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.
During Thursday night’s pre match Press Conference, the Al Ahly of Egypt forward said scoring in his last visit to the Nest of Champions is not a guarantee for him to score this time out.

“Yeah, I scored that time which is good for me and the team but that’s no reason to expect I must score on Friday,” Tau responded to question.
“What’s important is for the team to play well and whoever scores is good for us.
“Every game is a new game, and we approach it as it comes. But if I get the chance [to score], why not”.
South Africa are sitting top of Group C after two round of matches with the likelihood of things taking a new shape at the top of the standings after tonight’s game.
