The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Monday, June 10 as date for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday three encounter between Squirrels of Benin Republic and Super Eagles of Nigeria.
CAF has also officially confirmed that the encounter will take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
The encounter will kick-off at 5pm Nigeria time.
Benin will host all their home games in the qualifiers in Cote d’Ivoire after their home grounds were not approved to host international matches.

Ethiopia’s Bamlak Tessema Weyesa has already been appointed centre referee for the game.
The Super Eagles will host Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday,June 7 before the clash with Gernot Rohr’s men.
The three-time African champions are still searching for their first win in the qualifiers.
Finidi George’s side are second in Group C with two points from two games.
