26 Doma United goalkeeper, Osayi Kingdom, believes players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have what it takes to compete with the foreign-based players in the Super Eagles.
Recall that the trio of Olorunleke Ojo, Sodiq Ismaila, and Kenneth Igboke are the only players invited by Super Eagles head coach Finidi George to the team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic, respectively.

However, in a chat with Brila FM, Osayi stated that the NPFL players have the qualities required to fight for shirt in the Super Eagles if given the opportunity to prove their worth.
“The NPFL players have what it takes to compete in the Super Eagles,” Osayi told Brila FM.
“They have all the qualities that are required.
“All they need is a chance to prove themselves; that’s it.”
