Gomez is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the league and he has established himself as a reliable performer for Liverpool. Even though he is not a regular starter for them, he has been very useful for the club over the last few years.

Apart from his defensive quality, he is versatile enough to slot into full-back roles and as a defensive midfielder. There is no doubt that he would improve most teams in the country.
