Brentford manager Thomas Frank is one of the candidates in the running for the Manchester United job, according to GiveMeSport.

Man United manager Erik ten Hag faces an uncertain future at the club after a poor start to the season.

The Red Devils dropped to 12th position in the league after their latest defeat, a 3-0 humiliating loss against Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s team has been involved in embarrassing defeats against Brighton and Liverpool already this season and it keeps getting worse for the Dutch manager and his team.

He finished eighth in the league last season and his job was in serious trouble but he turned it around by winning the FA Cup against Manchester City.

The club backed the manager in the summer transfer window by splashing the cash on new signings but nothing has changed at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s failure to build an identity at the club and a playing style is something that has still surprised the fans and the pundits, considering how other managers have been able to make a difference at their club in just a matter of months.

As per the report, along with Frank, former Juventus manager Max Allegri and former England manager Gareth Southgate are both in the running for the Man United job.

Frank joined Brentford in the Championship and since then, he has won promotion to the Premier League with them, finished in the top half of the league and almost took them to European qualification.

His rise as a manager at Brentford has been highly impressive and that has caught the attention of the Red Devils.

The manager is known for his adaptability and his knowledge of playing all styles of football is something that is going to help Man United.
