One more time. There are all kinds of retirements in wrestling but few of them ever actually stick. While you might see a wrestler say that they are done in the ring, there is often the chance that they are going to wrestle again in one way or another. That can make for a big moment when they get back in the ring and that is what happened this weekend for a WWE Hall Of Famer.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Big Update On WWE’s Future Plans For Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE Hall Of Famer and current NXT broadcaster Booker T. returned to the ring over the weekend, defeating Zilla Fatu for Booker’s Reality Of Wrestling promotion. The match was set up last month when the two confronted each other and saw current TNA/former WWE star AJ Francis (Top Dolla) get involved. Fatu is the son of Umaga and has been rumored to be on WWE’s radar for several months. Reality Of Wrestling is one of WWE’s ID schools, meaning it receives extra attention from WWE.

Opinion: Booker getting hands on with someone like Fatu is far from surprising, as it seems that Fatu could very well be an upcoming project for WWE. If the company can find someone else with his kind of pedigree and bring them along into the company, it makes all the sense in the world. Working with a veteran like Booker is only going to help that along and there is a good chance that it is why the two worked together.
