8/6 WWE NXT Great American Bash Draws 534,000 Viewers On SyFy

WWE NXT viewership increased on August 6, when the show aired on SyFy.

Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider) reports that 534,000 viewers tuned in. This number is up from last week, when NXT drew 468,000 viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.16 rating, which is also up from last week (0.15 rating).

NXT aired on SyFy for the second week in a row due to coverage of the Olympics. NXT was only outranked by the Olympics and FOX News programs in the demographic on Tuesday.

This Week’s Episode Of WWE NXT

The August 6 episode of NXT marked the August 6 episode of NXT was the second night of the Great American Bash special. In the opening match, Trick Williams faced Pete Dunne. Elsewhere on the show, Kelani Jordan defended the NXT North American Championship against Tatum Paxley. Plus, Ethan Page defended the NXT Championship against Oro Mensah.

Additionally, Joe Hendry faced Joe Coffey. In the main event, Axiom and Nathan Frazer defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz.
