Leicester have become the first side in English top-flight history to lose six home games in a row without scoring a goal.

It comes after Friday evening's defeat at the King Power Stadium which was a 4-0 defeat to Brentford.

Goals from Yoane Wissa, Kevin Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard and Fabio Carvalho sealed another crushing defeat for the Foxes.

To make matters worse, across their last six home defeats, Van Nistelrooy's side have not given fans a single goal to cheer.

Their last league goal at the King Power Stadium came in a 2-2 draw with Brighton in December.

In their last six home games, they have lost 3-0 to Wolves, 2-0 to Man City, 2-0 to Crystal Palace, 2-0 to Fulham, 2-0 to Arsenal and now 4-0 to Brentford.

This means that they have conceded 15 goals across these last six fixtures, failing to score at all themselves.

It leaves them in 19th in the Premier League and with a league-high of 59 goals conceded in the campaign so far.

Fans are outraged by the results, as not only do they pay to watch their side lose, they cannot enjoy the consolation of a goal.

Phoning talkSPORT on Friday night, many raged at the manager, as one supporter simply said: "He has to go."

Lee, a Leicester fan speaking on talkSPORT, said: "It's some of the worst footballs that I've ever seen down there, and that takes the biscuit for some of the managers that we've had over the years."

Lee criticised Van Nistelrooy's decision to play 38-year-old Jamie Vardy for 90 minutes, adding that he 'can't rely on him to put the ball in the back of the net'.

Ex-West Ham striker and talkSPORT co-host Carlton Cole said there was 'no heart' from the Leicester side.

"They're not even running," he said. "You've got to at least give something back to the manager.

"It doesn't look like they're putting in the effort for me... they're being dictated to in their own gaff. The least of their worries is the board, they need to look at themselves."

Another fan, Josh, said there was 'no togetherness or team spirit', whilst another added that Van Nistelrooy would 'love the sack'.

Speaking after the game, Van Nistelrooy said: "You have to acknowledge it's a huge step back.

"Overall the general level and the difference between the level of Brentford and us was significant and a worry for future hopes for us.

"With the squad we have it's a huge, huge, huge mountain to climb to stay in this league, that's the reality. Today it showed.

"The situation we are in is alarming and the mountain we have to climb is huge."

Their next Premier League game will be a trip to East London to face West Ham before travelling to Chelsea.

When they return to the King Power Stadium, though, it doesn't appear to be much more promising. Their next three home games are Man United, Newcastle and Liverpool.
