Production on 9-1-1: Lone Star is coming to an end in just a few weeks! The Fox drama has been in production for months now on the show’s upcoming fifth season, with a premiere date slated for this fall, and is set to wrap up on July 19th. An Austin, Tex., set spinoff of 9-1-1, the series follows a sophisticated New York cop who, along with his son, re-locates to Austin, and must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in his own life. It was recently revealed that season five could likely be the last as a recurring cast member accidentally spilled the beans. According to Deadline, the cast’s contracts are up at the end of filming the season, and it appears unlikely they will be optioned for a return.
