“90 Day Fiancé” star Michael Ilesanmi was reportedly found safe after his wife, Angela Deem, said he was missing earlier this week.
“Let’s just rip it off like a bandaid. Michael is safe. There’s the good news,” blogger John Yates said Monday in a YouTube video alongside Deem, who added, “Thank God!”
Yates said Deem received a phone call from the police, stating that Ilesanmi contacted them. The authorities verified his identity through pictures of his passport that he was able to take from a burner phone.

TLC“He told the police that he was in fear of his life here,” Yates said, adding that Ilesanmi told the cops that he didn’t want Deem to know where he was.
“In the two months [since Ilesanmi arrived in America], Angela and Michael went to California for over a week, they went to New York, they went to Florida,” Yates said.
“It’s not Monte Carlo but over the course of seven weeks, I’d say no one was being locked up here.”
Deem said she said “f–king mad as hell” after finding out that her husband was seemingly hiding from her after initially “thinking he was hurt.”
According to blogger John Yates, Ilesanmi told police he did not want Deem to know his location. TLCOn Monday, Deem went Live, revealing that Ilesanmi went missing in Georgia after he arrived from his native country, Nigeria, in December 2023.
“Michael’s been missing since the 23rd. The police are involved, we can’t find him,” she shared before breaking down in tears.
Deem tried to contact her spouse’s family in West Africa but was unsuccessful. She also offered a $10,000 reward for Ilesanmi’s safe return.

The reality star also took to Instagram, asking her more than 800,000 followers to text her directly while she waits at her house.
Deem and Ilesanmi met online in 2018 during Season 2 of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” and tied the knot in Nigeria two years later.
Their relationship has had its ups and downs over the years.

Deem previously considered divorcing her husband after she claimed he allegedly cheated on her with a woman he met online.
“The biggest challenge our marriage is facing right now is the shady s–t Michael’s doing,” she previously said in a confessional. “He hardly ever calls. And when he does call, it’s only about the visa or that he needs money.”
Deem also had an issue with Ilesanmi creating an Instagram account although she was “against it.”
