Brazil international Richarlison opens up about his struggles at Tottenham.

After a transfer to Tottenham in 2022, Brazilian striker Richarlison had a complicated first season.

Recruited for 58 million euros from Everton in July 2022, the Brazilian striker has scored only 3 goals and provided 4 assists in 27 appearances during the 2022-23 financial year. Performance below expectations which affected the player's confidence.

In a recent press conference, Richarlison spoke about his difficulties in adapting and the crucial role of psychology in his journey.

“The mental aspect is super important for a player. I have sessions every week with my psychologist, she helps me,” he confided.

And to add: “The players must understand that the psychologist can be very important, it really helps on the pitch”confided the native of Nova Venécia.
