Loaned last winter to Genoa, Vitinha could continue the adventure with the Italian club and definitively leave Olympique de Marseille.

Having left for Genoa in January, Vitinha did not particularly shine in Italy. The Portuguese striker had to make do with nine appearances for two meager goals.

However, the former player has visibly convinced his leaders. The Italian club would indeed like the permanent transfer of the former Braga player.

However, according to journalist Sébastien Vidal, Genoa does not intend to exercise the purchase option, set at 25 million euros, or more or less what OM had paid to bring the Portuguese striker to the winter 2023, but would like to negotiate a transfer around 15 million euros.
