PSG have reportedly made a big decision regarding the future of their Portuguese striker.

Recruited last summer for 65 million euros by Paris Saint-Germain, Gonçalo Ramos had a complicated start under his new colors. The fault in particular is a virus which forced him to spend time in the hospital. But for several weeks, the Portuguese striker has regained color, to the point of having made his trainer Luis Enrique change the mind.

According to the PSG Inside Actus account, Parisian decision-makers were considering parting ways with Gonçalo Ramos this summer, but they ultimately revised their position following the Portuguese international’s recent good performances. Therefore, he should still be in Paris next season, unless he asks to leave. This is also the case for young Senny Mayulu.

Luis Enrique “counts” on him next season

Senny Mayulu and Gonçalo Ramos both bucked the trend. Unless requested by the player, both will remain at Paris Saint-Germain following the latest performances they showed in matches and in training. The coach is counting on them next season”reported the PSG follower account on X (formerly Twitter).

Once again a scorer this Saturday against Le Havre (3-3), the 22-year-old striker now has 14 goals this season and 2 assists in 36 appearances (all competitions combined).
