Kylian Mbappé’s entourage would have started looking for the French striker’s future home in Madrid.

The Mbappé soap opera should not know its epilogue before the end of the season. The outcome is however known: after seven years at PSG, the Bondynois is preparing to leave the capital club to join Real Madrid. The former Monegasque informed his leaders of his departure last month and his destination is in no doubt.

According to several Spanish media, Kylian Mbappé has already signed his new contract with the Merengue club, a five-year lease with a salary of 15 million euros and a signing bonus ranging between 50 and 120 million according to different sources. According to Marca, the Mbappé clan has already started looking for the new home of the French world champion, visiting various neighborhoods in the Spanish capital.

Valdebebas, an untouchable neighborhood?

For Lydia Martínez, a specialist in the Madrid real estate market, given the demands of the French striker, she will need between 12 and 16 million euros to find the ideal property. Unless he initially favors rental, which she cannot recommend enough in order to better understand the different neighborhoods. In which case he must count on a rent of between 25,000 and 35,000 euros.

Given the lack of properties on the market, Kylian Mbappé should not be able to settle in the Valdebebas district, popular in the past by most Merengue stars like Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo or Karim Benzema. Although he does not yet know the city perfectly, the Frenchman has nevertheless visited there several times recently, notably in the company of Achraf Hakimi, who knows the city perfectly. And if necessary, Antoine Griezmann, Aurélien Tchouameni or Eduardo Camavinga will be able to give him some advice.
