Dutch striker Memphis Depay still doesn’t know where he will play this season.

Depay remains a free agent after terminating his contract with Atletico a year early this summer. European teams have approached him, but he may well move to another continent to continue his career.

According to media outlet Itatiaia Esporte, Corinthians are pushing hard to secure the 30-year-old’s signature. The Brazilian giants have offered a contract and are now waiting for the former Lyon player’s response. Corinthians sit 17th in the Brazilian Serie A after 25 matchdays played.

Nice have inquired about Depay

European clubs are still in the running and Depay would prefer to stay on the continent. Rayo Vallecano is one of the clubs in contact. His name has also circulated in Nice, but there was nothing concrete.

It was at Monaco that Depay kept fit during the summer while waiting for a new challenge.
