After reducing its payroll by releasing Anthony Lopes from his contract, who signed up for Nantes, OL significantly replenished its coffers this week by officially selling Jeffinho.
Recruited in January 2023 for 10 million euros and loaned to Botafogo a year later, the 25-year-old Brazilian winger remains permanently in Rio, among the recent winners of the Copa Libertadores.
A large percentage on resale
Like defender Adryelson, Jeffinho allows Les Gones to benefit from the synergy of the Eagle group with John Textor, also owner of Botafogo. The transfer will bring the Lyonnais 5.3 million euros, plus a 30% interest on any possible resale.
At OL, the person concerned only played 21 matches in all competitions, for a record of three goals and one assist.
