THE real Madrid will have the opportunity to regain the lead in La Liga this Saturday. Second, one point behind Girona but with a game in hand, the Madrilenians move onto the pitch. Las Palmas (at 4:15 p.m.) for the 22nd day of the championship, enough to put pressure on the current leader.

Bellingham also absent

Accustomed to absences since the start of the season, Carlo Ancelotti will have to cope without Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and David Alaba, all three victims of a cruciate ligament rupture. But the Italian technician will also be deprived of Jude Bellingham. The England international, top scorer for the Merengues this season (18 goals in 26 matches), is in fact suspended following an accumulation of yellow cards after being booked in the last three matches at the White House.

The other usual executives are all present for this meeting, as is Arda Güler, who could take advantage of Bellingham’s absence to play his first minutes in La Liga.
