Talented Spanish winger Nico Williams is being courted by several major continental teams.

FC Barcelona are no longer the only club eyeing Spanish international Nico Williams. The latter is also in Bayern’s sights. The German giant is ready to thwart the Blaugrana’s plans.

Barca president Joan Laporta said on Sunday that the club has the means to sign the Athletic Bilbao winger. Williams’ contract includes a €58 million buyout clause. Given his talent and what he is showing at the Euros, that price looks like a real bargain.

Williams has only one destination in mind

The competition will be fierce, however. According to Marca, Bayern have entered the race and are ready to pay for the option of the Spanish international. An interest from Chelsea had also been mentioned by several concordant sources.

For his part, Williams would prefer Barça if he were to leave Athletic Bilbao this summer.
