Real Madrid have had a stellar season under Carlo Ancelotti, but the local press has given a lot of credit to his son Davide Ancelotti over the past three years.

The work of Carletto’s son has also attracted attention in France. According to Fichajes, Davide Ancelotti is one of three names on Stade Reims’ list of candidates to replace Will Still this summer, along with Le Havre coach Luka Elsner and Tottenham Hotspur assistant Joao Sacramento.

Ancelotti junior has long been valued by Reims, and he is largely responsible for the daily tactical work at Valdebebas.

A bet for Reims

This is not the first time that Davide Ancelotti has attracted the attention of foreign clubs. He was offered the chance to take the reins at Everton, but declined the offer, despite being linked with FC Basel and Saudi Arabia.

It appears he intends to stay at Real Madrid with his father until the end of their time at the Santiago Bernabéu, after which he will make the jump to the big chair, taking on fitness coach Francesco Mauri as his assistant. This is likely to be the case again this summer.
