A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) appeared on the January 21st episode of WWE NXT, and they are set for the following episode as well.
Theory and Waller appeared backstage on Tuesday’s episode, and they told NXT General Manager Ava that they wanted to host the NXT Champion on The Grayson Waller Effect on the special edition of NXT in Atlanta on January 28th. Theory noted that it was his hometown. Waller and Theory then watched the main event, in which Oba Femi defended the NXT Championship against Eddy Thorpe.
The broadcast team confirmed that Waller and Theory would host either Femi or Thorpe on The Grayson Waller Effect on the January 28th episode of NXT. Femi went on to beat Thorpe to retain the title.
Waller and Theory previously crossed over to NXT in the fall of NXT. They competed on the September 24th episode and defeated Cedric Alexander and Je’Von Evans. They then unsuccessfully challenged Fraxiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship on the October 8th episode.
