A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) made a statement on WWE NXT.
SmackDown stars Grayson Waller and Austin Theory appeared on the September 24 episode of NXT, and they hosted the Grayson Waller Effect. Their guests were NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom. The two teams went back and forth ahead of their title match on the October 8 episode of NXT. Frazer questioned the stability of A-Town Down Under, while Waller said that they would give the champions the rub before taking their titles.
Theory and Waller then stood tall after a brawl, and they posed with the titles.
After a backstage confrontation later in the show, Theory and Waller beat Cedric Alexander and Je’Von Evans. Axiom and Frazer interfered, and they accidentally cost Alexander and Evans the match.
