About Dil
Upon its release, the film Indra Kumar-directorial won several awards and was remade in different languages. The 1990 romantic drama was remade in Telugu as Tholi Muddu in 1993 and in Kannada as Shivaranjani in 1997. Aside from Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit, Dil also starred Anupam Kher, and Saeed Jaffrey in pivotal roles. The film was written by Naushir Khatau and Kamlesh Pandey, with music composed by Anand–Milind.
