Aamir Khan responded to the label of ‘last of the stars’ often associated with him, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan in Bollywood. While these three legendary actors have been dubbed the defining icons of their generation, Aamir expressed his disagreement in a recent interview. He believes that both current and future generations of actors will rise to become just as significant.

In the interview with Bollywood Hungama, speaking on the Last Of Stars Label for him, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Aamir said, “Every generation is better than the previous generation. They have our experience. This generation and the coming generation will become equally big stars. Par mujhe nahi lagta ki iske baad koi star nahi hoga. ‘We are the last of the stars’ aisa kuch nahi hai. Humare baad bahut aayenge (But I don’t think there won’t be any stars after us. There’s nothing like ‘we are the last of the stars.’ Many will come after us).”

He added, “Hum ginti mein bhi nahi rahenge. Aap log bhool jaaoge. Zamana aage chalta hai. Yahi toh duniya ka reet hai. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. Mahesh makes sure ki destruction ho, phir aap bhool jaate ho har cheez. (We won’t even be counted anymore. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. People will forget us. Time moves forward. That is the way of the world. Mahesh ensures destruction happens, and then you forget everything.)”
Recently, during Aamir’s 60th birthday celebration, Shah Rukh and Salman were spotted arriving at his Mumbai residence. SRK was seen playfully hiding his face from the paparazzi. Salman strolled in with his characteristic charm, much to the delight of fans who enjoyed seeing the trio spend time together.
Upcoming Projects for Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman
Aamir Khan is set to appear alongside Genelia Deshmukh in Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to his successful film Taare Zameen Par. This project marks Aamir’s return to the silver screen following Laal Singh Chaddha.
Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Sikandar. It is an action drama featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj. The film is set to hit theatres on March 30.
Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen as King. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand. Reportedly the film includes Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles, with its release scheduled for next year.
