Aamir Khan recently hosted a lavish birthday bash for his mom Zeenat Hussain as she turned 90. For the celebration, the actor flew in more than 200 family members and friends to participate, making it a wonderful family get-together for everyone. Everyone was dressed in ethnic wear, and the evening saw the presence of many family members, friends, and renowned celebrities from the entertainment world. Aamir Khan, along with everyone, cut the cake. The celebration was attended by actor’s close friend Juhi Chawla.

Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao took to Instagram stories as she shared a picture with Zeenat Hussain. She wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Ammi’. Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan also shared a cute picture of her grandmother from her wedding with Nupur Shikhare and wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Dadi’.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha which unfortunately tanked at box office. He was last seen making a came appearance in Salaam Venky. He is now gearing up for his next Sitaare Zameen Par which is set to release this Christmas. Confirming the same, in a statement he said, “I have started shooting for my new film, Sitaare Zameen Par from February 1. It is the next level of Taare Zameen Par, it is like part 2. It is not the same story and the characters are also not the same.”
