Aaron Wan-Bissaka joins the Hammers. After five years of loyal service with Manchester United, the right-back has signed with West Ham until 2031. The London club paid around €17 million to Manchester United to secure the services of the 26-year-old defender. With the Red Devils, the Anglo-Congolese will have played 190 matches, scored 2 goals and provided 13 assists, while being one of the best defensive players in his position in the Premier League.
“West Ham are delighted to announce the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka (…) He comes to continue his career in his hometown”the club wrote in an official statement announcing the arrival of the right-hander who grew up in London. On West Ham’s side, he will be in direct competition with the Czech, Vladimir Coufal, author of good performances last season. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will wear the number 29 with the Hammers.
