In a little over two days, the winter transfer window will close its doors. Time for some clubs to try a few last minute moves. There is one that agitates quite a few French and foreign clubs, namely the one leading to Clinton Nsiala. The French central defender of AC Milan, now 20 years old, is at the end of his contract in June 2024. For the moment, discussions regarding a lease extension in Lombardy are at a standstill. A situation which has not escaped the notice of several French clubs determined to jump at the opportunity to recover the player this winter as we already revealed to you last November.

Scorer against PSG in the fall in the Youth League, this French U16 international trained at FC Nantes was repositioned as a left central defender in Milan. Since his arrival in Lombardy, the native of Rennes has made 47 appearances with Ignazio Abate’s Primavera (2 goals) and 14 appearances in the Youth League. Elegant and very technical, Nsiala is a tough physical defender in duels, strong in anticipation and blessed with a good recovery. So many qualities which attracted LOSC who took some information on him, as well as AJ Auxerre in the event of promotion to Ligue 1 next summer. But RC Lens is not far away either and has made direct contact with the Lombard club in recent hours. On the player’s side, we don’t want to rush. Torn between the desire to have playing time at AC Milan and being able to obtain guarantees of playing time away from Olivier Giroud’s club, Clinton Nsiala is deep in thought. There is no doubt that the next few hours will be decisive for its future… in France, Italy, or elsewhere.
