Author of 12 goals and 9 assists in 29 matches this season in all competitions, Olivier Giroud (37) is maturing like a good wine. The French striker is a starter for AC Milan, who are even considering keeping him, while his contract ends this summer in Lombardy.

Indeed, as highlighted in the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are considering extending the French center forward’s contract for one season. After the match against Rennes in the Europa League (3-0), the general director of the Lombard club, Giorgio Furlani, sent a clear message to Giroud. “It’s perhaps a little early to talk about it, but if Giroud wants to stay, the door is open”. The transalpine newspaper adds that the former Grenoblois has several possibilities on the table, a departure to the United States or a return to France, when he will be 38 years old in September.
