CM Punk’s friend and trainer Ace Steel believes that he is capping his legacy with his return to WWE.

CM Punk’s return to WWE was derailed when he suffered a torn triceps in the Men’s Royal Rumble, as he will miss WrestleMania 40. However, many fans are already looking forward to his comeback.

Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Classic, Ace Steel shared his thoughts on CM Punk’s return to WWE. He also commented on Punk’s injury.  (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)

“He’s (CM Punk) back where he belongs. He’s back where he belongs,” Ace Steel said. “I was excited… I knew it was coming at some point that he should be there and that they would want him. I’m just extremely happy to see him and it’s not just finishing his story, it’s capping his legacy… When he finishes his story, he’s not done, he’s capping his legacy.

“He loves this business, he’s always loved this business. It broke his heart. But he found the love again and yes, he’s at a down spot right now but he’s the king of comebacks man. So yeah, I’m excited. We’re family so to see family be happy, that’s all I need.”

Punk recently said he was determined to have the greatest comeback of all time. Check out his comments here.
