Recall, the controversial Instagram blog listed the names of some female Nigerian celebrities, including Dakore, alleging they are Akpabio’s sidechicks.

Reacting via a post on her Instagram page on Monday evening, the movie star described the allegations as a wicked lie, noting she has never met Akpabio.

Dakore said she would not accept the unfounded lie and threatened legal action against the blog for trying to tarnish her image.

The thespian also promised to give anyone who could provide evidence of her affair with Akpabio the sum of N5 million.

She said, “I must say I am very disappointed, I am very shocked, I am appalled, and I want to categorically state that I have never ever in my life met the Senate President.

“I have not had any cause to see him or to be in the same room with him, not to talk of being one of his ‘side chics’.

“Hello, I am married, happily married, I have two beautiful children and I have always been above board in my dealings with everyone.

“So for a blogger, a jobless wicked blogger to decide to put my name amongst women who have been with this man is totally wicked and totally unfounded, it is a lie from the pit of hell,” she said.

Additionally, in the letter by the actres’s lawyer, Agbakoba, SAN, sighted by theNewsGuru.com (TNG) the blogger was given 24 hours to retract all offensive publications against Dakore, and told to refrain immediately from making further defamatory comments about the actress.

According to the actress’ lawyer,  the blogger’ actions are actionable under the law per the provisions of section 375 of the criminal code act.

The blog is further told that failure to comply with this demand will leave the Lawyers with no choice but to pursue aggressive legal actions against the blog and those hiding behind it..

These actions may include seeking damages, injuncture and legal costs incurred due to the defamation.
