Well-known Nollywood actress Omowunmi Dada has thanked God for helping her finish her job as a lecturer at the esteemed University of Michigan in the United States.
It can be recalled that the 34-year-old movie star was selected as 2023 global artist-in-residence in Michigan and joined the African Studies Center (ASC) and the Department of Afro-american and African Studies (DAAS) in developing audio-visual material for teaching African Language.
As an artist-in-residence, Omowunmi Dada, who is born and bred in Lagos, was able to instruct and supervised elementary, middle, high school students and teachers in Southeast Michigan. She also presented Nollywood and African film making.
Omowunmi has been gracing the Nollywood screen for nearly ten years with her blockbuster movies boasting her success in the movie industry.

As the global program comes to an end, Omowunmi could not contain her joy as she shared video capturing the memorable event via her Instagram page.
The event captured the moment she was appreciated for her hard work throughout her stay as the artist-in-resident in Michigan, presenting her with a certificate of honour.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “As my time as the 2023 Artist-in-residence at University of Michigan comes to an end, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 🎨💖”
