Peggy Ovire, wife of Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard has taken to social media to display her wedding ring, shutting down rumours that they had separated.
Peggy, via Instagram on Thursday, shared videos of her enjoying herself while jetting off to an undisclosed location.
In one of the videos shared, the actress showcased several meals, while another shows her relaxed with a headset.
The actress’ caption directly addressed her detractors, emphasising that she is focused solely on enjoyment, dismissing any negativity as “background noise”.
“Only available for enjoyment, every other thing is background noise,” she wrote.
In April, rumours swirled about potential trouble between Peggy and Frederick, with the couple making controversial posts on Instagram Story.
Frederick had posted, “Mistreating a righteous man then avoiding communication is not ‘protecting your peace,’ it’s avoiding accountability.”
In what many believed was her response, Peggy wrote, “You can’t hurt someone constantly and expect their energy to be the same. Even people with good hearts have limits.
“If you keep being mistreated, your energy is going to change and it’s most likely never gonna be the same again with that person.”
Despite the speculation, neither Peggy nor Frederick has made any statement regarding the status of their marriage.
The couple tied the knot on November 19, 2022, in a star-studded ceremony in Asaba, Delta State.
