Adam Copeland says it’s super exciting to see Mercedes Moné join AEW.

Mercedes Moné officially joined AEW at AEW Dynamite: Big Business. She instantly became one of the company’s top stars, given her successful career in WWE and elsewhere. Adam Copeland, like Moné, also had a great run in WWE before he came to AEW.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Adam Copeland discussed Mercedes Moné’s arrival in AEW.

”For her, AEW is a blank canvas with a brand new palette of paint,” said Copeland. “For me, it was the same. I saw Swerve, The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, Claudio, FTR, all these names I’ve never crossed paths with. It’s the same with Mercedes–think of how much fun she’s going to have here. Think of all the new opponents.

“I think it’s super exciting. I love that AEW is here to bring a different product to the industry. Now there’s Okada, Ospreay, Mercedes, plus all of us already here, and that makes one hell of a roster.”

Adam Copeland will challenge Christian Cage for the TNT Championship on the March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. Mercedes Moné will also appear on the show. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Wednesday.
