Adam Copeland is on the road to recovery, and he is seemingly training again.
AEW star Adam Copeland has been out of action since May. He suffered a fractured tibia during his match at AEW Double or Nothing, where he beat Malakai Black. Due to the injury, he was forced to relinquish the TNT Championship, and he underwent surgery.
In a tweet, Dax Harwood shared a picture that shows him, Cash Wheeler, Adam Copeland, and Darby Allin training with Sting’s son Steven Borden. Allin has previously discussed training with Borden, but the involvement of Copeland and FTR is seemingly new.
In June, Copeland said that he would not be ready for weight-bearing for eight to ten weeks. At the time, his recovery was slated to take six or eight months. Updates since then have been few and far between.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Adam Copeland will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
Will Ospreay On Adam Copeland
Prior to Copeland’s injury, he had established himself as a key locker room leader in AEW. AEW International Champion Will Ospreay was particularly impressed with the veteran. He took to Twitter and said that having Copeland in the locker room was “f*cking amazing.” He praised Copeland and noted, “What a legend, bruv.”
