The challenge has been laid out.
During the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Killswitch defeated Matt Menard in singles action before The Patriarchy laid Menard out in the ring.
As The Patriarchy posed on the stage before exiting, a returning Adam Copeland attacked them from behind. Christian Cage was able to retreat to the back as Copeland chased him outside of the venue.
While outside, Copeland turned his focus to the camera and announced that he will challenge Cage for the TNT Championship in an “I Quit” Match at the March 20 episode of Dynamite in Toronto.
Cage previously defeated Copeland on the December 6 Dynamite in Quebec to retain the title. Then at AEW Worlds End later that month, Copeland defeated Cage to briefly win the TNT title, only for Cage to cash-in an automatic title shot (via Killswitch) and regained the title right away.
Copeland had been off of television since The Patriarchy attacked him on February 14.
WrestleZone will have complete coverage of Dynamite every Wednesday.
