Things got intense at WWE’s Crown Jewel 2024 when Randy Orton, in true Viper fashion, delivered an unexpected RKO to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. What was supposed to be a match between Orton and Kevin Owens quickly devolved into chaos, leaving Pearce and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis scrambling to separate the brawling superstars.

Initially billed for a showdown, Orton and Owens never even made it to the opening bell. Instead, the two tore into each other around the ringside area. As Pearce and Aldis stepped in to restore order, Orton seized the opportunity to hit Pearce with an “RKO out of nowhere.” Meanwhile, Aldis barely escaped the chaos, quickly retreating from the ring.

After the dust settled, Adam Pearce took to Twitter to comment on the incident, throwing shade at Nick Aldis for his timely exit. Pearce tweeted, “RKO out of nowhere. SD GM nowhere to be found,” hinting at his frustration over Aldis’ absence when things got rough.

The brawl ended in spectacular fashion as Kevin Owens launched himself from a railing with a massive elbow drop, leaving the audience in awe. Orton and Owens, both part of Aldis’ SmackDown roster, clearly have unfinished business—and it seems the SmackDown GM might have some explaining to do.

What do you think of the RKO on Adam Pearce? Should GMs get more involved in these kinds of rivalries? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
