Adamawa State Owned Hospital Goes Up In Flames

A heath facility owned by the Adamawa state known as Specialists Hospital Yola went up in flames destroying a section of the hospital

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who just returned after a brief trip out of the state immediately visited the scene on arrival, and assured that the damage would be fixed immediately so that clinical services are not frustrated in any way

This is the second time in three years that the hospital is facing such an unfortunate development where valuable health equipment suffered severe damages

This time around, the incident happened late Tuesday night, making it difficult to control the fire before much damages were done

Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who visited the scene of the incident alongside too government officials described the incident as unfortunate and tagged it an act of sabotage

Adamawa state Commissioner for Health Felix Tangwami noted that the building touched by the fire was a passive storage for equipment hence will not hamper provision of Health services to the public.
