A variety of Vizio smart TVs are all on sale for Labor Day weekend. You can grab yourself a Vizio D-Series smart TV in 24″ for $130, in 32″ for $150, or in 40″ for $160.
Vizio is one of the best manufacturers for the low-mid budget tier of smart TVs. You’ll won’t break the bank and you’ll be treated to an easy-to-use TV with solid picture quality.
Each of the three TVs part of the sale are in 1080p, letting you watch in a crisp, clear HD resolution. Hey, most content is still in 1080p these days, so why bother with anything more than that? Especially if this will be more of an auxiliary TV for you — set up in either kitchen, garage, fitness room, bedroom, or bathroom. Hey, I don’t judge what you do in there.
The smart TVs are equipped with Apple AirPlay 2 as well as Chromecast. No matter your smartphone be it Apple or Android, you’ll be able to stream, control, mirror, and share your content directly to the TV, easy peasy.
As far as inputs go, the 24″, the 32″, and the 40″ all come with two HDMI ports at the back so you can hookup your choice of cable box, game system, or what have you.
Any Gamers Out There?
Each TV supports AMD FreeSync with allows for ultra-low input lag and helps prevent screen tearing. And if you’d like, you can flip on Auto Game Mode which will automatically power on the display when it detects input from a console or PC. No need to get up from the couch, or dig through the couch cushions looking for the remote.
Speaking of remotes, the 32″ TV comes with a Vizio voice remote, making searching for your favorite shows or movies a breeze. It’s possible that the others have this too, but its not listed on the product page. I find it hard to imagine the 32″ will have it while the 40″ does not, but we cannot confirm. So, buyer beware.
Additionally, the 32″ has built-in Bluetooth, allowing you to pair your headphones so you can watch without outside noise or bothering those not watching — excellent for shared spaces. Once again, its only listed on the 32″ but I’m getting the impression the descriptions on the 24″ and 40″ were just written by a different person, highlighting different things.
So there you have it. These Vizio smart TVs are a great, inexpensive option for any secondary viewing rooms you’re hoping to plop a TV in. The 24″ is $20 off at $130, the 32″ is $20 off at $150, and the 40″ is $10 off at $160.
