Adele shares update on major life plans during Las Vegas residency show: ‘I want a girl’

Adele has shared some of her major life plans after she wraps up her “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas.

The singer, 36, has been open about her desire to have more children — and it seems as though she and boyfriend Rich Paul will be prioritizing that very soon.

“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” the “Easy on Me” hitmaker told the audience during her show on Friday, per Daily Mail.

“I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

“With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” Adele quipped.

Elsewhere during the show, the “Hello” singer gave a sweet shout-out to Paul’s daughter Reonna Simone.

“It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend,” she told the crowd, adding that Reonna graduated from Clark Atlanta University. “So, I love you darling.”

The singer struck up a romance with the sports agent in 2021, two years after she finalized her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.

The exes share 11-year-old son Angelo.

In August, Adele told fans that she’s “ready to be a mom again soon” — and even has a list of baby names picked out.

“I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele said during her residency show at the time. “I’ve actually been writing lists. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”

And in 2022, the “I Drink Wine” singer discussed her dreams of expanding her family in an interview on BBC’s “Desert Island Discs” podcast.

“I definitely would like a couple more kids,” Adele told host Lauren Laverne, after being asked how she envisions her life in 10 years. ”It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I’ve got Angelo. I just want to be happy.”

The 16-time Grammy winner, who last year appeared to confirm that she and Paul have officially tied the knot, said that co-parenting with her ex-husband has proved to be an easier feat than she initially expected.

For his part, Paul is co-parenting his three children after previously saying he experienced fatherhood at a “very young” age.

In an interview with the New Yorker in 2021, the sports agent said he’s “looking forward to being a different dad — a more patient dad.”
