If Barça wants to prepare for the future with Lamine Yamal, recently extended by the Catalan club until 2026, the brands want to do the same. Sponsored by Nike until now, the 16-year-old Spanish international had offers on the table from the most powerful equipment manufacturers in the world, namely Adidas, New Balance and Puma. As reported by Relevo this Friday, the Catalan finally opted for the three-striped brand with a long-term contract.

This Friday, Yamal was indeed seen at his club’s training with a pair of Adidas cleats. With more than 5 million subscribers on his Instagram account, the Catalan prodigy is indeed a real global strike force among young people. Without specifying the amount of the contract in question, Relevo specifies that the player would have been offered sums similar to what is usually done with established stars.
