Aditya Roy Kapur talks about maintaining silence about personal life amid breakup rumours with Ananya Panday, says, “I’ve never really found the need”

Aditya Roy Kapur has been in the news for quite sometime after rumours of his breakup with Ananya Panday surfaced. While the actors never really opened up about their relationship status, the rumours began when they were spotted together several times. However, in a recent interview, the actor shared why he prefers staying quiet about his personal life.

Speaking on why he prefers to maintain a dignified silence on his personal life, Aditya told Lifestyle Asia India, “I guess I have always been quiet about my personal life. That’s the way I like it. I’ve never really found the need or the urge or the want to have people know all about me and my personal life. So, maybe that’s why I keep stuff to myself rather than, you know, put it all out there.”

He continued, “I guess may be the perception that I don’t give a f*ck comes from the fact that I’m not as active on social media. During Koffee With Karan, I said stuff about not really reading what people say about me. I don’t think it’s necessary to get into the granular level about what every comment about you is, because at the end of the day, there are going to be people that like you and people that don’t.”

On the work front, the actor impressed everyone with his stint in The Night Manager. He will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro…. In Dino. The movie also stars Sara Ali Khan Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles. It is slated to release on Nov 29, 2024.
