One week before the Classic between OM and PSG, Parisian supporters had a message to send to Adrien Rabiot.
Welcomed with open arms by Marseille fans, Adrien Rabiot didn’t just make friends in the Parisian camp by deciding to join OM last September. It must be said that the “Duke” was trained at PSG and wore the Parisian colors 227 times between 2012 and 2019.
Saturday evening, during Paris Saint-Germain’s victory over Strasbourg (4-2), the Parisian ultras targeted their former protégé, thus launching the Classic between the two best enemies in the French championship next Sunday, at the Vélodrome.
“Rabiot n**** your mother”
Of the “Rabiot n**** your mother » were chanted by the supporters gathered in the Virage Auteuil and echoed by part of the Parc des Princes. A not necessarily very classy way of making the middle 29 year old understand that his time with the rival is experienced as a betrayal. Some Parisian fans were also sadly noticed by repeating a chant containing homophobic insults during the meeting.
While waiting for the reunion between Rabiot and PSG, the former Juventus captain will start this Sunday in Montpellier. Roberto De Zerbi announced it in a pre-match press conference. Since his arrival at Canebière, the French international has played two ends of matches, for a total of 53 minutes spent on the pitch.
