On August 31, All Elite Wrestling presented AEW Collision from the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Among other matches, FTR faced Undisputed Kingdom, and Lee Moriarty, The Beast Mortos, and Johnny TV battled Hologram & The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy).

Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly interrupted, and AEW confirmed the trios match for Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Buddy Matthews def. Komander (with Alex Abrahantes) Brody King came out after the match. MxM Collection appeared on the screen and announced that they will fash House of Black in a Friday Night Fashion Fight next week on AEW Collision. Hikaru Shida def. Queen Aminata, Serena Deeb and Thunder Rosa. Tony Schiavone announced that Shida will challenge Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship at AEW All Out.
