AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen Draws Over 580,000 Viewers

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on January 1 for their Fight for the Fallen special.

According to Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider), 588,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.16 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 574,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is down from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic.

Wednesday’s episode also marked Dynamite’s debut on MAX. Viewership for Wednesday’s show on the streaming app is unknown at this time.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Hangman Page defeating Orange Cassidy. Page continued his assault on Cassidy after the match and attacked Christopher Daniels, who tried to calm things down.

Julia Hart made her return to the ring from injury with a big win over Jamie Hayter.

Jay White won a three-way match over Swerve Strickland and Roderick Strong to get the number one spot in the Casino Gauntlet match next week.

The main event saw Rated FTR defeat the Death Riders, thanks to an assist from Jay White to close the show.
