AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on April 2.
According to Wrestlenomics, 594,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.16 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 663,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped slightly from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.17 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a mixed tornado tag match that saw Swerve Strickland and Willow Nightingale defeat Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir.
Timeless Toni Storm defeated Penelope Ford in a non-title match. Storm had a staredown with Megan Bayne following the match.
Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight defeated Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Ospreay and Knight will face each other at Dynasty in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup.
The main event of the show saw Cope defeat Claudio Castagnoli. After the match, the Death Riders attacked Swerve Strickland ahead of his match with Moxley this weekend at Dynasty.
