AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 2/21, Demo Slightly Drops

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on February 21.

According to Wrestlenomics, 828,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.29 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 811,000 viewers tuned in. The demo went slightly down from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.30 rating in the same demographic.

Tony Khan also announced on social media that Dynamite was the number-one show on cable yesterday.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with FTR and Blackpool Combat Club wrestling to a time-limit draw. FTR teased a rematch between the two teams at AEW Revolution next month.

Elsewhere on the show, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy defeated Mike Bennett in a non-title matchup.

In women’s action, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo won their respective singles matches heading into their title match at Revolution.

In the main event of the show, AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Brian Cage defeated Hangman Page, Rob Van Dam, and HOOK when Joe choked out RVD.
