AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 4/10, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on April 10.

According to Wrestlenomics, 819,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.30 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 752,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.23 rating in the same demographic.

Tony Khan also took to social media, celebrating last night’s ratings increase, tweeting out:

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Adam Copeland defeating Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the AEW TNT Championship.

Elsewhere on the show, The Young Bucks aired the backstage footage of CM Punk and Jack Perry from AEW All In, which immediately resulted in a response from FTR setting the stage for their match at Dynasty.

AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada defeated Cristiano Argento in quick order before accepting PAC’s challenge for a title match at the pay-per-view.

In the main event of the show, Samoa Joe defeated Dustin Rhodes in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match. Swerve Strickland attacked Joe after the match and held Joe’s championship to close the show.
